Condolence: Sandra and family,

My deepest sympathies on the loss of your wonderful husband and father. A loss too sudden to completely comprehend.
Jerry's reassuring presence, humor and vibrancy will be so greatly missed.
May you find strength in each other and comfort in your memories.

Condolence: Uncle Jerry during our last visit you told me of your love for Scotland. So i’m Sharing a Scottish prayer. But first let me say how much my sisters and I love you. During our tender years you were our fun playmate and later you were our friend. We will cherish each and every memory.

Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effect
Without the ghost of a shadow on it

Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you at an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner

All is well

Condolence: To Sandra, Erin, Dean, Amy and Devon.
My deepest sympathies to you all. Jerry was the greatest. We didn't see each other often but when we did it was so easy it was like we saw each other every week. That is how special Jerry was. I couldn't have asked for a nicer, kinder, or funnier cousin. He was always such a gentle soul. God speed Gerry. You are missed already.. Paula

Condolence: Uncle Jerry (yes I am not too old to call you uncle again)! What a total shock to know you are gone. When I heard my mind went right back to when I was 10. Those memories seem closer these days! Mom and Cathie and I were living on Dorchester Rd in the Falls and you were visiting. I can still see the gawky, tall teenager with a thick head of hair (that you were trying to style in the Elvis look!) My dad arrived and was giving mom a hard time and you just stepped between them! Such a hero! Only you and mom remember what you said that day because my memories tend to be visual not verbal. It was not spoken in anger, it was perfect calm. Whatever you said diffused the situation and I can see you clear as day, our hero! Our amazing 3 uncles that stepped up for 6 little girls ♥️♥️♥️ As a young teenager you were already becoming the wonderful man you are. You have been a constant in the lives of all of us that have loved you. Despite the distance and not being able to spend time with you I will always remember my ‘hero’ uncle Jerry.
