Condolence From: Paulette Jenkinson
Condolence: My condolences to Carol's children, grand children , Frank and Kim and the rest of the family on Carol's passing.
I first met Carol in 1954, grade 4 when our family moved back to Timmins. Carol and I became fast friends and spent a lot of time at each others' homes. I can still remember the sound of their furnace cycling on and off through the night as I slept in Frank's bed after we relegated him to the basement to sleep. Thanks for being so gracious Frank.
We spent most of those elementary school and Jr. High years doing things together. I remember doing hula hoops and badminton together. Her parents were very involved with the Legion and it was through them that I would go downtown in Timmins with Carol and sell poppies on the streets. Carol's mom sewed a lot of Carol's and I remember her making me clothes as a surprise too. Carol and I spent a lot of time singing pop songs - the Era of the Beach Boys, Perry Como. Pat Boone and the Beatles. We walked home together from school most school nights. I also had a brother about Carol's age and she liked to be there when he was home. I have only good memories of our relationship. May she rest in peace. My awesome friend.

Condolence From: Don and Linda Labrie
Condolence: We are so very saddened by the passing of such a special friend (and my third cousin). I will miss Carol so much. Don and Gino worked together in Kapuskasing and we were also neighbours. Carol really guided me along as a young mother and we had many special tea times, laughing and discussing our family history. After Gino and Carol moved from Kap, we maintained a long distance friendship for 40 years! We exchanged gifts every Christmas and it was a treat to have tea over the phone as the years flew by. I was so blessed to have had such a caring and considerate friend. Our deepest condolences to Dusty, Angie, Tony, Chris, as well as Kim and Frank and all their families. Rest In Peace Carol! You will be dearly missed but your spirit will shine on! Love Linda and Don Labrie
