Armstrong, Marjorie Mame (née Pattison) - In her 99th year, passed away March 21st, 2021 in her chair at her retirement home in Thorold. She waited for the first day of spring. Her greatest joy was basking in the sun. She was a welcoming spirit to all those she encountered and a ray of sunshine for all her family to see. She was married to Jack Armstrong for 57 years when he passed in 2004. She is predeceased by her brother Jack (Patty) Pattison and sister in law Ruby Pattison. Survived by her son John (Donna) of Kelowna and her daughter Deborah (Bill) of Dallas. Grandchildren Jonathan of Edmonton, Bobby (Amy) of Penticton and Tess (Brad) of Australia and Laurel (Nick) of Austin and Billy (Shannon) of Dallas. Great grandchildren Emily, Olive and Ellie of Edmonton, Nora and Briar of Penticton, Hugo and Rose of Australia. We would like to especially thank Cobblestone and so many staff there that loved mom and cared for her like family when we were so far away. Because of you her wish never to move to long term care was fulfilled. Family services will be held in her memory in Dallas and Kelowna. We were so lucky we had you so long mom. Rest In Peace.
