WEASNER, Dorothy Marie - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Weasner (Bicknell) in her 79th year on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Lloyd "Joe" Weasner, parents Alfred Bicknell and Dorothy Bicknell (Sutton) and by two sisters and one brother. She was survived by her two sons Joe (Diane), Bob (Valerie) and by her 5 grandkids Robert, MacKenzie, Noah, Jeremy, Sam and her sister Violet (Bill). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. There was nothing Dorothy loved more than her family, whether it be a holiday get together or sitting around a campfire, she always enjoyed the company, especially from her grandkids. We would like to thank the staff at the Port Colborne Hospital, especially the nursing staff for the care that was provided throughout her stay over the last three months. Some things can't be mended and a broken heart is one. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A private family service has taken place and a Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
