TELLIER, Lorna (nee Johancsik) It is with deep sadness the family of Lorna Tellier announces her passing, at the Welland Hospital with family by her side, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 one month before her 96th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Tellier (August 21, 2017). Loving mother of Wray “Pudgy” Tellier (LeaAnn November 2020) , Renee deSmit and the late Curtis Tellier (April 2017). Cherished grandmother of Crystal (MJ), Delanie (Dale), Kailea (Jared), Rayanne, Justin, Tahnee (Zac) and great-grandmother of Montana, Samantha, Kynlea, Nathan, Aiden and Alexa. Survived by sister-in-law Helen Johancsik (John Thompson). Predeceased by her mom Betty Johancsik, father Louis Johancsik, brother Al Johancsik and her brother and sister-in-law Ed and Nora Johancsik. Mom worked as a hairdresser, Switsons (Electric Metals) Towers and was a house wife. She was a Brownie Leader, received her 50 year pin at both the St Andrew's Catholic Women's League and the Moose Lodge. She was president of the Fifth Wheel Club and president and convener of the senior events at the Jubilee Apt Building where she lived. She played drums and the Sticks for "The Fun Band" and beautifully played the Piano all her life and still played to this day. She will be missed by her best doggie BobbyJo Billy Jo. We are very thankful for dedicated years of service of the March of Dimes especially Melissa, Bonnie, Laurie, Tracey and Willie. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
