Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was a great friend when we attended high school together, we shared our interests in music, sports. Band-mates for a few years, a few adventures, many happy memories. I hope Mike's family finds comfort in knowing that he left a positive imprint even as a young man.

Condolence: What can I say about someone I have known for 45 years.I remember the first time we met at a call on Oakdale Ave. He had just arrived from Niagara Falls and introduced himself to me. I was impressed and remained so every day after that. We played basketball together. He was always fair and a good sportsman. I never saw him angry. He was a great caring person. I never saw any faults in Mike. His signature on my retirement plaque will be cherished. Our similar interests in Jaguar cars spans 45 years. I am heartbroken.
What we do in life, echoes in Eternity.

Condolence From: Gary Nicholls
Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and colleague Sgt. Gamble. Mike has been taken too soon and his loss will touch many of us in real and tangible way. Let me offer my most sincere condolences to Michael Jr.and Sarah. Your father was a gentleman and an outstanding Police officer. He was always pleasant and respectful even in some of our most challenging interactions as he spoke for the well being of his fellow officers in his role as Association President.
I counted him as a friend and a man to be admired for his ethics and sense of purpose. Members of the Service and his many friends and colleagues at Brock University are going to miss Mike.
He was most definitely one of the good ones! May he rest in peace.
Gary Nicholls.
Chief of Police (Ret)
