Obituary for
Monique Agnes Cadieux (Langlois)
Cadieux, Monique Agnes - It is with great sadness that the family of Monique Agnes Cadieux (née Langlois) announces her passing at the age of 72 at Hamilton General Hospital on December 30, 2020.
Monique was born in Warren, ON, on February 9, 1948 and was the youngest of five siblings. She married her husband of 56 years, Marcel Cadieux, and they went on to build a great life together.
With a passion for life, love and laughter, Monique was always the first person to hit the dance floor, volunteer for a game or simply spread joy to those around her. She enjoyed travelling and visited Florida almost every year, where she met great friends and loved to golf. Everyone who knew her enjoyed spending time with her, and she will be remembered with fondness and deep love.
Monique is survived by her brothers Ronald and Norman (Carol), and her best friend and sister Yvette (Gerard [d.]); as well as her children, André (Michele), Ron (Sonya) and Michelle; her grandchildren, Cassandre (Bryan), Mathieu (Felicia), Nathan and Lucas; and her great-grandson Oliver. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benoit and Jeanne-d’Arc (Lalonde) Langlois, and her brother Gaetan.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences are available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
