Condolence: I’m saddened to learn of Steve’s death. So many were praying for his recovery and return to health. I knew Steve from TB Costain where he was a friend to everyone in our Tai Chi group. He went out of his way to assist whenever needed especially our members with limited mobility. My sincere sympathy to his parents and family.
Condolence: Dear Brettell family - our sincerest condolences from 2 childhood siblings on Aqueduct street who shared so many wonderful memories with Scott, Steve and Christine - our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time
Condolence: My sincere sympathies to Steve's family. I had the pleasure of teaching Steve at Niagara College. He had a gift for connecting with all his peers and impacting each of their lives positively with his optimism, authenticity and kindness. He spoke of his family often, and lit up when sharing stories about his nephews. I am a better person for having known Steve and I will aspire to be more kind, in his memory.
Condolence: Steve was a wonderful, intelligent & compassionate co-worker in Brantford. He is gone way too soon & will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My thoughts, sympathy & prayers are with his family & friends during this very difficult time.
Condolence: So sorry to hear of Steves passing. I first met Steve in high school gym class. We had some good times bowling, cruising the falls and playing ball hockey. A really nice and pleasant man to be around. Rest in peace my friend.
Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to the Brettell family. I grew up on Aqueduct Street along with Steve and Scott. Many great memories of a truly wonderful person who had a unique ability to make everyone around him feel welcome. He will be missed.
